I'll also watch women's gymnastics anytime I catch it on tv. Its like going back to high school and I like the nostalgia. Lord knows I couldn't ever do that stuff those girls do today. I'd have fallen on my head at least 100 times!

I know right? Now that's on my bucket list :-)

I wish we could've seen the locker rooms. Unfortunately there was a game that night and so that whole side of the arena was off limits. No biggie though, the rest was still pretty cool. But that Yandle escorting me to my seat thing? Yeah let's just say Matt is lucky that didn't happen, he'd never stop hearing about it and one man can only hear about (one of) his wife's hockey crush(es) for so many years before he loses it haha.

Trying to get crackin! Once I finish doing the posts for this challenge that story is going to get developed. Thanks for the compliments on the pics! Can't wait for A to Z to be over so I can get on that!Jenn Flynn-Shonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08441834864191292424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2080647999171945249.post-77543289426810498462013-04-09T22:56:07.571-07:002013-04-09T22:56:07.571-07:00Not much of a sports fanatic, but football and hoc...Not much of a sports fanatic, but football and hockey are some sports I can get into on rare occasion. Either way, a tour of any sporting facility would be something of interest to me.

Looks like it was a lot of fun!

I can just imagine in my head:

"What a great place to put a... I mean, find a body."

"aaaaaaaand that concludes our tour... What a great gift...That looks like an awesome tour! What a great gift from your friends, esp. since the Yotes still don't have an owner and the franchise is still in limbo. And you got a story idea out of the deal, too. How cool is that?

Did you get to see the locker rooms, too? Or just the rink part? And why couldn't they have included a player meet and greet? Seriously, after the crap that the owners and players put us through (again) they should have a limo pick you up and have Keith Yandle escort you to your seat.

The pictures are great, btw. Especially the one of the nets. That would make a great book cover for your 'dead body under the bleachers' story. Now get crackin' on that :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2080647999171945249.post-83266203612554306882013-04-09T19:51:19.167-07:002013-04-09T19:51:19.167-07:00As someone who played hockey, from when I was a ki...As someone who played hockey, from when I was a kid through grad school, the ice is the first thing I consider when I think of a game. Then the boards. Everything else comes after that.

There are lot of corners in the higher sections of the arena where people could stuff a body, and it wouldn't be found for a while.

Blessings and Bear hugs!
Bears NotingRob-bearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00171692478879522588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2080647999171945249.post-27539298130295057332013-04-09T09:39:17.150-07:002013-04-09T09:39:17.150-07:00It was the first thing that came to mind when we w...It was the first thing that came to mind when we walked out toward the ice, I kept one eye on the underbelly of the seats just in case. But I'm already formulating a good story in my head of how it could play out to discover a body there. Can't wait to finish this blog challenge to get back to fiction writing!
